Willow 5x7 Notes Limeade

The blue willow pattern is a story of forbidden lovers placed in an exotic garden and is a classic chinoiserie theme going back to the 1700’s, originally created in England during the craze for imported Asian porcelain. Taking a hand drawn sketch from my childhood tea set, the blue willow image is translated into pale lines for notecards then reversed into white line against saturated color for envelope liners. This pattern can be found in multiple products through our range.
