I’ve spent a fair amount of happy time in museums. Matisse, Cezanne, Dine, Johns, Kelly, Frankenthaler, Stettheimer, Krasner, Gilot and Louise Bourgeois had an impact. There was a lot of interesting thought about painting and what it was going on, people trying to push the form. Moving from the traditional idea of “motif” that inhabits a lot of stationery, we have here used geometric form and color to reorient the space of the page. We hope this inspires you to compose your thoughts in interesting ways.
