I’ve spent a fair amount of happy time in museums. Matisse, Cezanne, Dine, Johns, Kelly, Frankenthaler, Stettheimer, Krasner, Gilot and Louise Bourgeois had an impact. There was a lot of interesting thought about painting and what it was going on, people trying to push the form. Moving from the traditional idea of “motif” that inhabits a lot of stationery, we have here used bars of color to define space on the page. We hope this inspires you to compose your thoughts in interesting ways. We recommend usiing cardstock for the notecards, and paper weight for the envelope liners.
