I was on a trip away from my studio and wanted to make some drawings; I found hockey tape and cut and tore it into a drawing. After considering the group of drawings for a while, I began to make patterns from some of them and they reminded me a bit of graffiti. Which just shows you have to follow the process and enjoy the surprises. Hopefully, this story behind the pattern didn’t change your response to it.
