Stimulate conversation, be respectful of others\u2019 views, and refrain from personal attacks.<\/li>\n<li>Respect intellectual property rights, do not plagiarize work, and give credit to the originators of ideas.<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t share the posts of others without permission.<\/li>\n<li>We reserve the right to delete comments at our discretion and block any repeat offenders. We will remove content that is fraudulent, deceptive or misleading.<\/li>\n<\/ul><div><br><\/div><div><br><\/div>\n<p><strong>ETIQUETTE:<br><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>All defamatory, abusive, profane, threatening, offensive, or illegal material is strictly prohibited.<\/li>\n<li>Discriminatory, hostile or intimidating messages will not be tolerated, whether based on a person\u2019s race, ethnicity, culture, national origin, social or economic class, educational level, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and expression, age, size, family status, political belief, religion, or mental or physical ability.<\/li>\n<li>Be mindful and respectful of linguistic background\u2014while the language for online for a discussions is English, remember not everyone is a native English speaker\/writer.<\/li>\n<li>Keep subject lines clear so that members can respond easily and search the archives.<\/li>\n<li>Do not private message members for help or other purposes. If you need help, request a new thread so the entire community can help and benefit.<\/li>\n<li>Include only the relevant portions of the original message in replies.<\/li>\n<li>Avoid administrative messages, such as remove me from the list (use the web interface to change your personal settings).<\/li>\n<li>Spamming, posting promotional material or posting links to third party websites is not permitted.<\/li>\n<li>Please do not post images larger than 600 x 600. This is considerate to members with slower internet speeds and keeps the forum looking neat.<\/li>\n<li>Please do not post inappropriate material, if you would not feel comfortable viewing in front of children or parents, don\u2019t post it.<\/li>\n<\/ul><div><br><\/div><div><br><\/div><div><br><\/div>\n<p><strong>CONSEQUENCES FOR VIOLATIONS OF THE COMMUNITY RULES:<br><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>For Minor first offenses; a warning will be issued and the tally of marks against will begin.<\/li>\n<li>For Minor Second offenses; another warning will be issued and another mark will be added.<\/li>\n<li>For Minor Third offenses, a temporary ban will be enacted.&nbsp; The length of the ban will depend on the level of the infraction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If there is another infraction after your ban is lifted, it will be assumed that you will not refrain from the repetitive behavior and the ban will become permanent.<\/p>\n<p>For any major offenses and behavior which will not be tolerated, an immediate ban will be enacted.<\/p>\n<p><strong>MODERATION:<br><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re here to help, the moderation team works diligently to maintain this Community for advice, story sharing and responses to our quarterly challenges.<\/p>\n<p>All posts to the community show up right away, we do not screen community activity before it goes live.&nbsp; This is called reactive moderation and it means we can keep the community open around the clock.<\/p>\n<p>We seek your assistance in helping us, so you may report any post or item you deep as inappropriate by clicking the report as objectionable link on the bottom right corner of a post.&nbsp; The moderators will review each complaint and follow up as needed.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PRIVACY POLICY:<br><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We are committed to respecting the privacy of our members.&nbsp; We do not sell, rent, or share any personally identifiable information shared by our members or our membership mailing list.&nbsp; To learn more, please review our full privacy policy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>LEGAL NOTICE:<br><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Do not post any information or other material protected by copyright without permission.&nbsp; By posting material, the posting party warrants and represents that they own the copyright with respect to such material or has received permission from the copyright owner.&nbsp; In addition, the posting party grants Friday House and users of this site the nonexclusive right and license to display, copy, publish, distribute, transmit, print and use such information or other material.<\/p>\n<p>Friday House provides communication tools as a service for its members.
