We are big fans of Asian Arts here at Friday House. On my first trip to Hong Kong, very early in my design career, I found several sets of beautifully covered and padded silk boxes. I brought home several sets for gifts and kept a couple for myself, which I still have. The beautiful silk covering one set of the boxes was the inspiration for the borders and envelope liners for this notecard set.
Inspired by a collection of silk covered boxes I found on my first trip to Hong Kong a long time ago, these 4 x 6″ notecards and envelope liners have a pattern adapted from those vintage boxes.
